SoftwareLit courses are delivered in SCORM format through our learning and membership platform. SCORM is a standard that online learning systems use to run courses and track course activity. This notice explains what information the platform handles, what may be stored on your device, and how to protect your information.

1. Accounts, Payments, and Course Records

Your membership, login, payment, and course records are handled through our third-party learning and membership platform.

The platform collects and processes:

• Your name and email address

• Your login credentials

• Device and analytics data

• Payment information (processed through third-party payment processors)

• Course activity, such as enrollment, progress, completion status, assessment scores, and certificates earned

Depending on the course, the platform may also save your in-progress responses so you can pick up where you left off.

We can access your name, email address, membership status, and course activity records to manage memberships, support learners, issue certificates, and improve our courses. We do not receive or store payment card information.

The platform's handling of account and payment data is also governed by its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how SoftwareLit uses your information.

2. Organizational Access
If your course access is provided by an organization through an Enterprise membership, administrators at that organization may be able to see your course enrollment, progress, completion, and certificates.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

Some course features also save information in your web browser on your device so the course works smoothly, even between sessions. This information may include:

• Your name (used to generate your certificate)

• Your reflection answers, star-rating evaluations, and other course responses

• Names, dates, roles, milestones, and other details you enter for project-planning activities This information is used to personalize your course experience, such as creating your workbook and certificate.

4. Important: What Not to Enter

Please do not enter confidential information, sensitive personal data, or proprietary business information into any course. Information you enter may be stored on your device and may be saved to the learning platform, and you are responsible for what you choose to include.

When a course activity asks about a business, you can use general descriptions or example information instead of real names and details.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including relying on established platform, payment, and browser security safeguards.

However, no system is completely secure. Information stored on your device also depends on how you manage and protect that device and browser.

6. Your Responsibilities

Please be aware that:

• Anyone with access to your device or browser may be able to view information stored there

• Clearing your browser data or cache may delete information stored on your device

• Using private or incognito mode may prevent information from being saved on your device between sessions

• Information stored on your device does not transfer automatically if you switch devices or browsers

For the best experience, we recommend using a personal device and a standard (non-incognito) browser session, and downloading or printing your workbook and certificate when you finish a course.

7. Removing Your Data
